Highlights

Native knowledge base (beta)

Serval now has its own native knowledge base, available in beta. Write and organize content in a full Notion-like block editor, group articles into bases, folders, and pages, and keep a version history as you publish updates. The help desk agent searches your knowledge documents when answering questions, and you can gate visibility by access profiles so users see only what they should. Articles support rich content including images, and you can @-mention users directly in a page.

Trigger campaigns from a workflow

Campaigns can now be triggered by a workflow. Set a campaign’s schedule type to “Triggered,” and a workflow can kick it off, with the workflow itself firing from, webhook, a Serval event, or a cron schedule. You can also define custom Trigger.* template variables that the workflow passes into the campaign, so each run can be personalized with data from the triggering event.
